Darrion Narine, from Trinidad and Tobago is the Vice-chairperson for Inclusion and Engagement of the Commonwealth Youth Council. Darrion’s responsibilities include membership to the organisation, internal and external events and the inclusion of marginalised groups in the decision-making processes of the CYC and beyond. The focus areas during his tenure have been the inclusion of youth with disabilities, indigenous youth, young women and ‘offline’ rural youth.
Darrion is also passionate about the arts and different cultures. He is an actor, writer and poet and believes in art and performance as a tool for global change. He is dedicated to his work and is always ready to lend a helping hand.
